SIGN UP HERE! The Center for Frontline Retail is holding a free job search workshop and hiring event to train retail job seekers in resume writing and interviewing, and connect job seekers with various positions at major retailers GAP, OLD NAVY, Banana Republic, Barclay’s Center and more.


Check-In: 10:30–11:30 AM
First 60 arrivals will attend the event. No admittance before or after check-in time. See events calendar for future events.

Please come to our office professionally dressed, and bring NYS ID or other ID, three copies of your resume, and a pen. Participants must know the last 4 digits of their social security number. 


GAP: Sales & Stock Associates :

Sales & Stock – Must have at least 6 months retail selling experience, must have impeccable outgoing personality, must have passion for fashion, must be flexible to work weekends, late into the evenings, and holidays.

Old Navy: Sales & Stock :

Must have at least 6 months retail selling experience, must have impeccable outgoing personality, must have passion for fashion, must be flexible to work weekends, late into the evenings, and holidays.

Banana Republic:Sales Associates:

Stock Associates & Visual Merchandising – Must have at least 2-3 years of stock, visual or customer service sales experience. Must have open availability on night, weekends and holidays

Rainbow Village: Lead Assistant:

Must have a minimum of 1 yr. of professional experience in a childcare setting. Support Assistant- Must have a minimum of 6+ months of  related experience

Westbourne :Squad Members :

Must be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, high volume, and team-oriented atmosphere. 1-2 years related high volume hospitality and or food service experience. Solid Customer Service & Communications Skills. Full-time

AEG (Barclays Center): Security Officer :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Uphold the Security Department’s Prime Directives, most importantly our mission to take reasonable steps to protect the safety and security of our venues’ guests, employees, and assets with respect towards everyone’s dignity and legal rights.   Resolve escalated security situations, providing appropriate warnings and complete ejections/arrests if warranted/necessary.  Ensure enforcement and compliance of the venue’s Event Policies at all times.  Assist with directional and informational inquiries. Serve as escalation point for complaints/issues.  Appropriately document all major/minor incidents and/or investigations.  Represent Barclays Center and the Security Department in an exemplary manner.  Apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems in order to successfully perform and direct varied & complex tasks.  Perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:  High School diploma or equivalent required.  Ability to communicate effectively in English.  Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check, employment verification, and drug screening.  Active NYS Security Guard License and 8-hour annual training required.  Active NY FDNY F-03 Fire Guard License required.  Minimum availability requirements are as follows; Fridays after 5PM, all day Saturday and Sunday and one day during the week  Ability to maintain good business relations with all the employees & managers in other departments.  Ability to effectively perform in crisis and to work under pressure without loss of composure.  Ability to exhibit maturity by making sound judgment.  Ability to memorize, re-collect, and quickly retrieve relevant information.  Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.  Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with building personnel, guests, visitors, clients, and vendors.  An understanding of all the rules of law, the relevant penal codes and company policies.  Must have strong teamwork etiquette.  Must be able to adapt to changes in assignment per event.  Must maintain a high standard of grooming.  Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality

Usher/Ticket Taker

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Greet guests as they enter Barclays Center with a smile.  Responsible for scanning tickets and ensuring all guests have a proper ticket/credential.  Provide guests with friendly and accurate directions.   Check tickets for guests attempting to access their section and assist them in locating their seat.   Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment in assigned sections.  Respond to guest complaints, questions, information requests and comments.   Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, without the loss of efficiency or composure.  Use excellent customer service skills and positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, & employees.   Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines & deadlines set by Guest Services Managers and Supervisors.  Effectively and calmly interact with angry or emotional guests and employees.  Ability to memorize, recollect, retrieve, and recite relevant information.   Follow all operating policies and procedures at all times.  Maintain company confidentiality.   Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent.  At least 18 years of age.  One (1) year prior customer service experience, preferably in a sports/entertainment venue environment.   Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance with good communication skills.  Must have reliable transportation to and from Barclays Center for scheduled shifts.   Must have the ability to read, write and understand English in a working environment.  Friendly, outgoing personality.   Ability to take direction well and work well with others.   Must be willing to undergo a post-offer criminal background check and drug screening,   Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance that conveys professionalism at all times. No visible tattoos, facial piercings, unnatural hair colors (i.e. blue, pink, etc.)   Must be available to work at least 70% of events per month; including all events on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. (Approximately 24 at maximum)
